Born in Chicago, Davi McIntosh grew up with a talent for creating things, but it wasn’t until grammar school that she had an epiphany - she wanted to become a fashion designer. From then on she was smitten with the bohemian beauty that is fashion. Years later, she enrolled in the Illinois Institute of Art for fashion design. A foreigner to the sewing machine, she was taught to sew, drape, and patternmaker, and four years later, she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts, and a Best in Bridal Award for his creation, The White Swan, as well as the coveted Stanley Paul Scholarship. After her work was featured in two runway shows, Davi began an internship with award winning Oscar’s Challenge designer, Borris Powell. Now, finished with school and looking forward to the next stage in life, yet far from the end of her journey, Davi wants to continue to learn from experienced designers and hone her craft even more.
